Diction is the art of speaking clearly so that every word is understood. People with good diction are easier to understand, sound confident, and communicate more effectively.
One of the first steps to improve diction is paying attention to every sound. English words are made up of vowels and consonants. When you drop sounds, slur words, or speak too fast, your message becomes unclear.
